JLG Telehandlers Wyoming
After spending numerous years working together with his brother to establish their crane manufacturing corporation into a leader of the industry, John L. Grove chose to stop working. John as well as his wife Cora celebrated their retirement by setting out on a cross-country trip using their R.V. After that trip, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's leading manufacturer of specialized material handling equipment and mobile aerial work platforms.
John spent a lot of the time during the R.V. journey talking to prior business associates who the Groves were visiting on their journey. Tragically, while they visited the Hoover Dam, 2 workers were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. During subsequent conversations, John saw a huge untapped market for a kind of product that could quickly and safely hoist people into the air to be able to carry out maintenance and construction functions.
John decided to take action when John and his wife returned from the trip. He began a partnership with two dear friends when they bought a small metal fabrication company within McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. During the year 1970, with an initial team of 20 employees, the trio built and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. Many components of the basic design elements of that first machinery are still being incorporated into the current machinery
The company has come a very long way ever since John L. Grove came back into town from his cross-country trip and have grown dramatically since they debuted their first aerial work platform. Even nowadays, JLG continues to expand into additional worldwide markets. Lots of innovative machines are designed to help clients work safer and be more effective.
JLG has remained dedicated to being the leader in the business. The business takes operator comfort into account really seriously. They attempt to deliver in performance, along with overall comfort and safety so that the operator can be as productive as possible.
