Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized in order to transport products and materials around on wooden pallets using metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
To avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated carefully. Machine should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make sure that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet must be stacked carefully to be able to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
To be able to release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever located on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be centered to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is really dangerous to push the pallet in front of you because the thrust can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop suddenly. Gradually stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
