The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around providing grabs which deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The regular handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting greater quantities of supplies faster. There is less wear and tear on the crane structure and its related parts. By combining manufacturing with innovative design and high quality materials, the desirable weight ratio is attained.
Grab sizes will range from 1 cubic yard or less to over 50 cubic yards in order to suit the needs of the customer. Moreover, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units purchased in the USA, as well as the addition of brand new grabs and buckets.
