Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Standard lift trucks can not move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would usually utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform that is meant to raise workers is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
