FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run company, FMgru, is situated in the largest industrial location in northern Italy. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide range of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
The company began crane production during 1963. Eventually, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and makes 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for various uses and there are available models which can cover all construction needs.
FMgru has several really flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other units comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes provide a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are equipped with 12000 kg capacity. These cranes are specially designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
